Who is Kristen Ledlow? The interview she didn't even know she was Doing.

To many of us, she is the woman who lost to Shaq (yes Shaq) in a free throw contest.

To others, she is the co-anchor alongside Grant Hill on the new edition of NBA’s Inside Stuff. After a short and very interactive back and forth on twitter (her handle is @KristenLedlow ) I learned that Kristen is more than a poor free throw shooting anchor of a new NBATV show. Much, much more.


First off, if there is one thing you should know about Kristen it is that she is, well, just flat out awesome. Why? I had a full conversation with her on twitter. Who was the last person you had a full conversation with in person? Exactly. Kristen interacts with her fans, she is exciting and most importantly genuine.

So why Kristen? I decided to do this report on her because she came out of nowhere. One day, in the middle of the greatest show on tv, Inside the NBA, she showed up, she talked trash, she backed it up (for one free throw) and the rest is history.

So who is Kristen Ledlow?

As a teenager, Kristen was a dominant volleyball and basketball player. Her skills landed here in Southeastern University where she set multiple records for the basketball team as well as earning All-American Honors as a volleyball player, all this while double majoring in broadcast and communication.
Since college, Ledlow has bounced around as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports covering the SEC and ACC and most importantly, to her, Florida State University Football games (she is a huge Seminole fan.) She is currently the co-host of The Morning Drive, a sports radio talk show airing on 92.9FM The Game in Atlanta. Lastly, she is the charming Co-Host of our new favorite show, Inside Stuff.

Below you can see my short, but powerful interview with the woman whom, I believe, will soon be a staple in the Sports world.

For many of us, Inside Stuff is about Ahmad Rashad and Summer Sanders, for Kristen, it was too.

 As a reporter,  Kristen has been inspired by so many, one woman specifically has had a lasting impression on Kristen.

 Since starting on Inside stuff Kristen has be great, and has been having a great time being great. I asked her was her favorite segment was so far? (click her for the link of the segment youtu.be/Cy18iqj4nW8 )

 For any person to be great, they must understand greatness. When asked whom she would want to interview in an ideal world, Kristen gave the perfect answer (even for me, being a Lakers fan!)

I have learned that Kristen Ledlow is one to be reckoned with; She knows the game, she both plays it and studies it. She appreciates history and those who have come before her. She is friendly, open to interact with fans, and a much better shooter than her appearance on TNT would indicated. Most importantly, she is on a mission…. What that mission is? Well I’m still waiting for an answer.
